৮ই যিলহজ্ব অবিস্মরণীয় এক দিন। আমাদের প্রাণ প্রিয় নবী রাসূলে পাক (সাঃ) এর প্রিয় দৌহিত্র হযরত ইমাম হোসেন (রাঃ) ছাহেব এ দিবসেই মক্কা শরীফ ছেড়ে কারবালার উদ্দেশ্যে যাত্রা করেছিলেন।
দু'জাহানের বাদশা প্রিয় নানাজানের সত্য ইসলাম রক্ষায় হযরত ইমাম হোসেন (রাঃ) ছাহেব হজ্বকে ওমরায় পরিনত করে কারবালা অভিমুখে বেরিয়ে পড়েন। ইসলাম ও মানবতার রক্ষায় তিঁনি নিজের জীবন ও পরিবারও উৎসর্গ করেন। তাই দ্বিধাহীন চিত্তে বলতে হয়, আমরা যখন ঈদুল আযহা উদযাপন করব, পশু কোরবানি করব, তখন একই সাথে আমাদের স্মরণ করতে হবে কারবালার সেই মর্মন্তুদ, অসহনীয় শোকের পবিত্র মুহূর্তকে, রাসূলের (সাঃ) অতি আদরের ধন ইমাম হোসেন (রাঃ) ও তার বংশধরগন একমাত্র ইসলাম ও মানবতা রক্ষায় নিজেদের জীবন বিলিয়ে দিয়েছেন।
The 8th of Dhul Hijjah
The 8th of Dhul Hijjah was the day when the grandson of our Prophet (SA) left Makkah and marched towards Karbala. This is the day when Imam Hussain (AS) converted his Hajj into Umrah and started for Karbala to sacrifice himself and his family in order to save his grandfather’s Shariah, Islam and Humanity.
As we celebrate Eid-ul-Azha, and slaughter animals, we should not forget the plight Imam Hussain (AS) on this day when the household of our Prophet (SA) was with him and, in the face of calamity, he proceeded to save humanity and Islam.
